Sunshine coast based - previously collaborated with businesses in QLD & VIC to promote their businesses through mine via pop-up photoshoots. I aspire to take Raw Humanity worldwide. Offering cinematic style photo sessions for Maternity, Engagement, Newborn, Family, and Product/ Branding shoots.
Raw Humanity has been on my heart since I was 16 and first picked up a camera. I was obsessed with juxtaposition and creating illusions without distortion to capture images that you could imagine/ remember being in that moment. “Photos you can feel” is a trendy catch phrase but has truly always been the intention behind everything Raw Humanity represents.
Raw humanity refers to the genuine, unfiltered expression of what it means to be human. Connection, vulnerability, and presence - without perfomance or pretense. It’s the real moments: imperfect, honest and felt deeply. Where you can simply be, rather than trying to be something else. Capturing the essence of authenticity - who you truly are beneath expectations, posed versions and polished appearances.
Now more than ever society is surrounded by a curated sense of perfectionism and the idolisaton of lives that appear flawless, yet often leave out what’s real. Beneath the surface of social media, glam, creating a version of life that’s more perfomance than truth - there’s the messy, meaningful and human moments that are edited away.
It’s time to shift the way we see ourselves and eachother. Choosing honesty over perfectionism, Raw Humanity will interrupt the constant stream of curated, idolised imagery and replace it with something real, relatable. When you see yourself as you truly are - imperfect, expressive, present - the pressure to perform softens. You’re reminded that connection doesn’t come from flawlessness but authenticity. By providing more raw, genuine, imagery I hope to reshape visual culture and evolve the perception of “normal”.
